This is one of the first times that I painted the oranges, leaves and other elements for the card separate from each other. I usually will paint an arrangement and then use as is on my cards. By painting the elements separately, I was able to achieve a beautiful design with lush layers. I might try this technique again with a different Christmas theme!
"Merry Christmas" surrounded with beautiful hand painted oranges, leaves, pinecones & fir with a buffalo check background. The back has buffalo check in a lighter color so that your message will be legible.
